in.hub IoT/IIoT gateways

Acquire, process and analyze machine and process data

Icon

Our IoT/IIoT gateways have been specially developed for machine diagnostics in the industrial environment to collect data from your machines and systems, process it in the gateway and then visualize it on a dashboard. You can use the gateways either as a retrofit solution for integration into existing system environments or as a supplementary component for new machines and systems. The standard high integration of industrial AND IT interfaces on all in.hub IoT/IIoT gateways enable the direct connection of sensors and actuators as well as communication with various controls and bus systems.

Gateways - the bridge between process data and machine control

With our gateways, you can easily access all process data of your machine controls. The in.hub IoT gateways continuously monitor operating parameters via standard interfaces to the machines and additional sensors on the critical components. The make and year of manufacture of the machine or control system are irrelevant. Our gateways dock anywhere without any problems, so that you can access your data quickly and easily.

Collecting data

You can use the gateway to communicate directly with the machine control. Likewise, almost all sensors can be connected directly to obtain the valuable information relevant to you. Interventions or changes in the machine or the process are not necessary.

Processing the data

The gateway can process the received information immediately and perform simple logical or mathematical analyses. It can also use the integrated database system to display complex monitoring and thus provide you with OEE key figures, for example.

Distributing the data

You can then easily have the interpreted states sent to you via email or SMS in case of deviations, such as downtimes of your plant or process deviations. You can also create individual dashboards or share the data with your ERP, MES, CMMS, cloud or other systems. There are no limits here.

Your choice: The right IoT/IIoT gateway for every application

To enable you to retrieve your data from machines, systems and processes efficiently and quickly, we have the appropriate gateways for you for different requirements.

The slim design of all in.hub gateways allows them to be easily installed in almost any control cabinet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I set alarms for measured values in the gateway?

For each input, so-called "synthetic signals" can be defined in SIINEOS in the I/O management, which trigger a defined action when the threshold value is exceeded or not reached, e.g. the flashing of an LED, the opening of a door or the power-off of a machine. E-mail alarms, on the other hand, cannot yet be set in SIINEOS. However, this can be configured in Grafana.

Can the in.hub IoT gateways also be used outside the control cabinet?

The possible uses of the in.hub IoT gateways depend on the environmental conditions. The standardized in.hub IoT gateways have a minimum protection class of IP20, but can also be upgraded to IP67 or even higher with an additional housing.

Just contact us and we will put together the optimal accessories for you.

Can I also connect the in.hub IoT gateway to third-party products that are not from in.hub?

Yes, that is possible. We rely on open systems without any restrictions, and the make does not matter. There are no restrictions on using only in.hub hardware or in.hub software.

Can I send data from my ERP and/or MES system to the in.hub IoT gateway (or vice versa)?

Data can be exchanged between your own MES and/or ERP system and the in.hub IoT gateways. This is done by most users.

Can I create a database on the in.hub IoT Gateway?

On the in.hub IoT gateway, the standardized data store is a database.

How can I create simple evaluations with the in.hub IoT Gateway?

On the in.hub IoT gateway, you can set simple alarms yourself and export all recorded data as a CSV or Excel file at any time. For the visualization of your measured values, various apps are available in SIINEOS, such as in.hub's own app "FlexPlorer" or the external app "Grafana". Connectors to the Telekom cloud or Azure can also be accessed via SIINEOS and offer various options for displaying and processing data.
